This
is where the Brothers Comstock came from, just a couple of goofs amongst
nine kids. They grew up in the San Fernando Valley, a suburb of
Los Angeles, California. Their large family was where they developed
their entertaining, warped sense of humor.
Although there are six Comstock brothers, only Scott and Kurt started
playing music together, the others had to grow up and get real jobs.
Sitting next to Kurt is their little sister, Yvonne. They used to love to
bug their sister and still do today.

During the 80’s, Kurt and Scott formed the Comstock Jug Band. They developed their own mix of Folk, old-time Country, and Rockabilly which they dubbed- Jugrock. They performed at many of the local L.A./ Hollywood clubs for years until finally, they suckered their girlfriends into marriage and were forced to settle down.
It was when they began to have kids that
they decided to start writing music and comedy for children.

This is Scott's family. We would tell you their
names but his wife and oldest daughter are already too embarrassed someone
might see this.

And this is Kurt's family. He has only two kids,
which he says is plenty. Luckily, having nine kids is not hereditary.

They both love to be involved with kid sports
and have been busy coaching baseball, softball, and soccer for many years.
This is a picture of Coach Scott explaining the intricacies of soccer--"just
kick the ball into the net."
